Just like a lighthouse can give a new perspective to a sailor, information about alternative modalities, like Kinergetics, can change our perceptions about our health and life.

Changing Our Perceptions of Pain
Using Kinergetics - by Natalie G. Nehman
Too many people are living in pain today. Something needs to be done about it. We have a unique opportunity to do just that, help reduce the world's pain. Pain, as most of us know, is a wake-up call that all is not right. The question is: “What is not right?” From an allopathic point of view, we would check the site for redness, swelling, bruising, growths, etc. If the pain were more internalized, we would go to X-rays, scans and the like. But as Energy Kinesiologists, we look for energy imbalances within and around the body. Sometimes the imbalance is on or near the site of the pain. But more often that not, the source of the imbalance is nowhere near the actual pain. This could present a dilemma.
Aspirin and various drugs can give temporary relief, but to correct the problem more permanently, we must find the cause and source of the pain and then balance that. How can this be done? There are many methods and numerous books that have been written with various pain relief techniques, but I have not found anything as fast, effective, and permanent as the Kinergetics method. With Kinergetics the only correction for any and all imbalances is done by sending healing energy.* The most important criteria is to gather the correct information from the body and enough of it to be able to permanently clear out this imbalance. This will be done in stages or circuits, as pain usually takes several circuits to clear completely.
First, it will be important to have the client rate the pain from 0-10 with ten being unbearable pain. This way both the client and practitioner have a gauge of the progress being made. And, since we know that the majority of pain is caused by muscles that are out of balance (too tight), we have a place to begin. Philip Rafferty (the originator of Kinergetics) has found that inevitably there will also be a hydration problem associated with the pain and that by balancing the jaw (TMJ) we can correct more than 90% of the muscles in the body that are out of balance and help re-hydrate the body as well. Additionally, more than 90% of pain below the waist is directly related to the TMJ (temporal-mandibular joint) being out of balance. Pre and post checks of the Psoas and Satrorius muscles give evidence that this is true, as will be demonstrated in the RESET (TMJ) workshop.
The methods used in this demo/lecture will not include correcting the jaw directly but it will be demonstrated. This is taught in a three-hour workshop called RESET where no kinesiology knowledge is required or needed. The Kinergetics methods require that the practitioner have some knowledge of the body's proprioceptors, Circuit Retaining Mode, jaw stacking, various finger modes, and the hologram within any muscles' range of motion. These are taught in the various branches of Energy Kinesiology, including Kinergetics Unit 1.
After a few pre-tests and receiving permission from the body to work, we will begin by gathering information about the pain. What is the client's rating of the pain? Where is the pain? How long has he had it? Is it worse at any particular time or when doing something specifically? How did he get it or when did it start hurting? Now that we have that information we are ready to start. If I were working in my office I would probably take the time to do a general hydration of the body to help in both the detoxification and healing of the client at this point. However, in this demo we do not have the time and will jump right in, putting pain related information into circuit.
With Kinergetics the facilitator is always looking for an Indicator Muscle CHANGE. That change can be from a locked muscle to an unlocked one, or from an unlocked to a locked muscle. Whenever we get a CHANGE in the IM (indicator muscle) we will take that information into our hip or jaw propioceptors.
At this point, I usually “open the BIG file” by saying “Pain in right (or left) hip” (shoulder or whatever). I will take the circuit in my hips' proprioceptors. We can then ask the client to move the area to access the pain, touch the pain, and talk about the pain. The entire time we will be monitoring the IM looking for a change. These changes in the IM are all “sub-files” of the BIG file of “Pain”. We will take every change into circuit! This necessitates the use of our jaw proprioceptors. In Kinergetics, we always look for “Suppressions” as well. If something is suppressed then it was particularly stressful to the client and we haven't gotten to the bottom line of this issue. (There could be a huge amount of information hidden under that “suppression” that would never be found otherwise.) If”suppression” is present we add that information to the existing information already in circuit and continue. Now that we have quite a bit of information about the pain stored in our circuits, it is time to balance or correct these files of information. We do this by asking the body what it wants in order to clear out the imbalance using various finger modes and by challenging the heart chakra. Then we simply do what the body says it needs, close the circuit, and ask the client to re-rate the pain.
After doing several circuits on the client, if the pain isn't completely gone, we may find that we need to access an emotion and the files that are tied to it. If the pain is physically deep or hard to reach or touch we may find that doing an “energy sandwich” will be very helpful. - Just place your palms on either side of the pain. Wait 30 seconds and take the circuit before moving your hands. - Now continue checking for any other information that you would like to put into circuit before correcting it.
This is a most amazing balance. It is very simple and usually permanent if you get the client's rating down to a zero and haven't missed a hidden “suppression”. And you will probably find if you are like me, that the source of the majority of the imbalances is in the charkas and it may even include a hydration problem there. Allopathic medicine would never find anything like that and therefore couldn't help the client in the ways that we can. Because the source of the imbalance is really in the energy field “around” the client and not “in” the client, allopathic medicine never really cures that. We have the opportunity to permanently help relieve the client's pain using these methods.
We also have a unique opportunity to change the world's perception of health and healing. One way we can do this is by elimination it's pain, wherever the source, and by showing everyone receptive, that we are much more than a physical body. May you enjoy health, happiness, and abundant love wherever you go, always leaving a plentiful amount of positive energy behind to help heal the world.
*Everyone is born with the same universal healing energy. Our bodies can heal themselves without outside instruction or help (in most cases) with energy. Sometimes stresses of life may temporarily block our healing energy that we use within ourselves and on others. But this too can be balanced with Kinergetics.
